Hello all...

I've had TMS related symptons for about 10 years and can say I'm painfree 95% of the time. The pain (hands, neck, back, the usual suspects) returns from time to time, but applying the daily reminders and thinking psychological is enough.

My girlfriend recently(2 weeks now) broke up with me because of depression and being unable to be in a relationship. I have to admit her bouts with depression and anxiety put a toll on me too. I also nearly lost my dad this year. I expected TMS to trigger of course.

I'm thinking symptom imperative(ibs is listed as, i don't have an official diagnosis yet) and that it's my bowels' turn, but i'm struggling to apply TMS principals. I have noticed an increasing amount of fear, that this could be something serious. I have an echo scheduled this friday to rule out anything serious.

The timing of it all though... it screams TMS, right? Physical pain never worries me either... The brain is trying out a new strategy?
